Hear My Voice

James Sanji Mirumbe

Welcome to Hear My Voice

My name is James Sanji Mirumbe. I am a teacher with a professional interest in special-needs education, particularly education and support for learners with cognitive disabilities and autism spectrum conditions.

My educational journey includes studying at Sebastian Kolowa Memorial University in Tanzania from 2010 to 2013, where I report earning a Bachelor of Education in Special Needs.

Throughout my journey, I have been interested in raising awareness about the educational needs, abilities, and experiences of children with special educational needs. I believe that every learner deserves dignity, understanding, opportunities to learn, and appropriate support to reach their potential.

About this blog

Hear My Voice is a platform for sharing ideas, experiences, and perspectives on special-needs education, inclusion, community awareness, and issues affecting children and other people who may face barriers to participation and opportunity.

Through this blog, I hope to encourage thoughtful discussion, share educational insights, and promote greater understanding of the importance of inclusive education.

Recognition and community involvement

My educational journey has included recognition associated with community outreach and special-needs education awareness. These experiences have contributed to my continuing interest in education and community engagement.

My current journey

Having lived and pursued educational interests in Tanzania and now living in Canada, I continue to value opportunities to learn, exchange ideas, and contribute to conversations about inclusive education.

Thank you for visiting Hear My Voice. I hope the articles here inform, encourage, and inspire you.
